Who We Are

At Covington Aircraft we overhaul Turbine and Radial airplane engines for Pratt & Whitney Canada. These engines are used in agricultural, corporate, and military aircraft. We also support missionary aircraft bringing medicine and supplies to remote villages around the world. We are a family owned company in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Paul and Betty Abbott have been with the company since its beginning in 1972 and now their sons, Luke and Aaron, have assumed day-to-day responsibility of running the family business. Covington holds four core values: integrity—the most important element in our business; dependability—quality and timeliness; quality service—personal attention to customers; and affordability—among the lowest prices in the business.

About Our Careers

Most mechanics begin in disassembly to learn the types of engines we overhaul. From disassembly, employees can transfer to nondestructive testing, inspection, reassembly, or hangar mechanic. We cross-train our mechanics so they are prepared to step up and fulfill any task at hand.

Parts room clerks will learn the parts used in these engines. They coordinate shipping, build kits for mechanics, and provide customer service on a daily basis.

Culture

Covington values integrity above all else, and we live it day in and day out. Our employees work hard to achieve our high quality standards. Our culture is supportive, built on teamwork and mutual respect.
